Sesiones VIII y XIX - Sessions VIII and XIX

SESIÓN VIII, (24/02/2011).

(Unidad de HHSS).


Se comienza la reunión repasando los contenidos tratados relativos a HHSS en las sesiones anteriores.

Se continúa la sesión haciendo un pequeño debate; el tema a tratar es sobre “si las personas que llegan a un país extranjero se deben adaptar a las costumbres del país o deben continuar sus traiciones, ajenos a la sociedad donde se hallan” (Elementos clave del debate: utilización o no del velo, poligamia, crucifijos en escuelas…).

Posteriormente se da una explicación de la “Escucha Activa”, señalando las indicaciones necesarias y las conductas a evitar para su correcta práctica.

Se continúa la reunión haciendo varias representaciones breves en role-playing de situaciones cotidianas donde se pone en práctica la habilidad de la “escucha activa”.

Se concluye la sesión (y la unidad de HHSS) señalando las conclusiones o ideas más importantes de lo tratado en esta unidad las 3 últimas sesiones.


SESIÓN XIX, (10/03/2011)

(Video-forum).

En la reunión de hoy se visiona la película “Paradise Now” (de Hany Abu- Assad), que versa sobre 2 jóvenes palestinos que son reclutados para inmolarse en un atentado suicida en Tel Aviv.

Se deja un espacio para debatir sobre el conflicto israelí-palestino, sobre las vías pacíficas para resolver conflictos, sobre las posibilidades de convivencia de pueblos enfrentados, sobre la legitimidad de los diferentes métodos para resolver nuestros derechos y sobre el extremismo religioso.





SESSION VIII (02/24/2011).


The meeting begins with a review of the contents covered in previous sessions.

We continue the session with a small debate. The issue is "Must the people who come to a foreign country adapt to the customs of the country? or must continue their betrayals, oblivious to the society where they are?" (Key Elements of the debate: use or not use of the veil, polygamy, crucifixes in schools ...).

Subsequently there is an explanation of "active listening", pointing out the necessary information and behaviors to avoid for the correct practices.

We continued the meeting with several brief performances in role-playing situations which implements the ability of "active listening."

We finished the session and the unity indicating the most important ideas about we discussed in this unit during the last 3 sessions.


SESSION XIX (10/03/2011)


(Video-forum).

We viewed the film "Paradise Now (Hany Abu-Assad), which deals with 2 young Palestinians who are recruited to blow themselves up in a suicide in Tel Aviv.

It leaves a space to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on peaceful means to resolve conflicts on the possibilities of coexistence between warring peoples, about the legitimacy of different methods to solve our rights and religious extremism.
